Afro-Caribbean rhythm takes center stage as Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra bassist Carlos Henriquez and percussionist Obed Calvaire lead an evening of bold new music. Performed with the JLCO, the program features two major commissions, one by each artist, celebrating the deep cultural roots and rhythmic traditions that shape their sound.
